The Bucket List

So while reading another blog earlier this week, she had talked about her bucket list. I say it's never to early to start one. Heck I'm only 28 but still....so without further procrastination here are some that I can think of, off hand.

1-HAWAII!! I really want Kevin and I to go for our 10 yr wedding anniversary, which will be in 3 years, I have always wanted to go, and yep I'm going to be selfish and go without kids!

2-Travel to Australia, Ireland and Germany. I have always wanted to take in all of the sights and experience a one on one look of koala's!! LOL Ireland I have always wanted to go to, partially because I am part Irish, but because my godmother went several times as her mom was from Ireland. Sadly though I never got to experience going with Buffy as she passed away shortly after my wedding in 2004. One day I will go and take Ali and we will get to experience everything for ourselves. And lastly Germany, come on, do you know my maiden name (Schmitz) and married name Eschamnn! Need I say more!! LOL I remember back in Junior High doing some family research and realizing how awesome Germany was, and where the Schmitz family came from, and um come on that country knows how to drink beer! LOL

3-SKYDIVING! I swear one day my mom and I will go, it's always been a dream of mine and even though my mom has a fear of heights she has said that she wants to go. Hmm, maybe when mom turns 60.....

4-I want to go on a cruise with friends!! Pretty sure that Timmy and Collena would love to go as well. Even though Kevin doesn't care much for water or boats I say we are going!

5- I want to go to New York, at one time Collena and I along with another friend had made a pact that when we all turn 30 we are going. Sadly I'm not sure if that will happen........

6- To honestly learn how to play guitar. Kevin plays, he can teach me, he tried once but got irritated because I am left handed and he is right so everything was backwards to me! Someday we will both have the time and patience to learn!

7- To own a Chevelle! Seriously if you know my family old cars you have to have! I remember when my brother was 15 my dad and him rebuilt a  64 Chevelle and it was the most gorgeous thing ever! Sadly my brother sold it after a few months, he now regrets that. My mom inherited a 70 Chevelle, and it's a beauty red with black racing stripes and it has a big block engine! Sadly they won't let any of us take that thing out for the day! Oh and also that thing only gets 10 miles to the gallon! LOL YIKES! One day I will own one, and one day Kevin will own his GTO!

8- Go on a hot air balloon ride. I know back years ago when my dad worked for Cal-Gas I was on one, but while it was still on the ground....not the same especially when you are like 2 when this happened! LOL

9- Swim with the dolphins! Ever since the episode of Stephanie and DJ on Fully House, I have been jealous! LOL I wanted to while we were in Florida years ago, but really I couldn't believe how much they wanted to charge!! I will for sure next time!!!

10- Experience Disney World with Ali (and other children when we have them), and I want them to experience it when they are kids!! I was 21 when I went, and yes I loved it, but still, I think it will be totally different to experience it through your children's eyes!!

Ok well that is all I can think of off hand!! I'm going to try to get better at blogging, and I hope to add pictures soon, but currently a date watching football on the couch with my hubby is calling.

Weekend Wrapup

Hello all, it's been forever since a last post! But real quick here is the weekend wrapup!

Friday night we literally did nothing, just cooked some dinner, I couldn't even tell you what we ate! And we got things finished up for Jamie's shower.

Saturday I woke up early and prepped my food for the shower, headed down to good ol' Valmeyer and got everything decorated. Came home real quick finished getting ready, got myself together, got a cup of vodka ready for us girls to have with the punch (haha), and went on down. The shower turned out great! Tons of people, we luckily had enough food, just ran out of punch, boy do I make a good punch, it had sherbert in it, YUMMY! I hope to snag some pictures from someone. After that was over I came home and rested my feet for the short while and we headed out to the Fruth house for some Lasagna and we let the kids play. We have been seeing a lot of the Fruth's lately which has been great! The boys (being John and Kevin) got out some guitars and held a jam session like in the good ol' days. Ali and Jacob played well together and Peggy and I got to catch up on some chit chat. We left there and Ali was passed out before we even left the driveway!!

Sunday we woke up after 7:00, how great is that!! I consider that sleeping in! We got up and Kevin made us pancakes, while Ali and I worked on a grocery list. Later I took Ali to Wal-Mart and Schnucks. And for our family for almost 2 weeks of food I walked out between both stores for $100!! Pretty happy! We came home and Kevin sprayed round up in the front yard where the tree stump was removed on Thursday so we can replant seed. Ali played dolls most of the day, and then we took some naps. We weren't really productive, but hey I didn't care. We then had Ali's first soccer game. She isn't a fan of Coach Ryan, but she did pretty well. We have learned she doesn't like confrontation so she just kind of stook back, but all that matters is that she had fun and she did! We came home and she was treated to ice cream!!

So kind of boring I know, but that's our life! LOL Oh and a few shout out's today, Happy Birthday John Fruth!!! And Congratulations to Justin and Julie as we just found out they are expecting this spring! And we hope that Baby Henry makes his appearance soon!!! :)

Second post it's been a little while

Hello all!

Sorry it's been a little while since my last post, life has been keeping me busy. Not like I do a whole lot but, I feel like I am busy. We took Ali to the pediatrician today she has a ear infection in her right ear and an upper respiratory infection, but in such a good mood! She is almost 29 pounds, finally!! She was happy to get stickers at the doctors office, and of course while we were there we had to check out the bathroom, since being potty trained in October we have to check out every bathroom everywhere! LOL After the doctor, we went to Sams, then ate at Taco Bell/Pizza Hut, got her prescription filled, and it was free but we had to pay for the flavoring? WTF! Oh well, then we went and saw Grandma and Grandpa Eschmann since they are finally home from Florida! They brought Ali back Mickey Mouse ears (like goldfish), a Cinderella doll and Cinderella nightgown. She is now finally taking a nap!

Tomorrow I am excited we are going to the Magic House, Kevin has never been!!! I am so excited! I love having family days!!! Sunday we are going to check out the SPPS pre-school program, yes can you believe pre-school already! YIKES!! My baby is no longer a baby!!!

Well that's all for now, have a great weekend!

Here it goes....

Welcome to our blog!!! I have had a few blogs before, I think I started our first one when I got pregnant with Ali, then that site eventually shut down, I then went and created a shutterfly site, not sure what ever happened with that. But for a while now I have gotten hooked on a few blogs, I used to read them daily, until work blocked the internet! How rude!!! I do try to keep up with my cousin Cassie's Blog, and a few money saving ones, but seriously who has the time, when you are a wife, a mother, work full time, your a maid, and just about anything else can fit into my title. :)

Maybe I should start off by saying, Hello, I'm Jessica most people refer to me as Jess or Jessica, or Jessi, if you ever refer to me as Jessi please lord spell it correctly! Hello it's J-E-S-S-I!!! Thank you!! Anyway, I am married to my wonderful husband Kevin, we met in 2001, he was in a Rock band (HOTT), and we were married in 2004 literally just 2 weeks after I turned 21. In July 2008 we welcomed our daughter Ali Marie into the world, and life has been a non stop adventure ever since!

This coming year in 2011 we have a lot planned and in store for us. Ali and I are in my cousin Bryan and his fiance Jamie's wedding (she is one of my BFF's), that is in October but we gotta plan and save now! In July we will go to Virginia Beach for Vacation, as Kevin has to go to the Stihl facility for Erb Equipment for 2 days so we will make a week out of it. July we also have Ali's 3rd birthday coming up and yep I am already trying to plan it! I want my house to be uber organized, we are getting there on some aspects. I am cooking more from scratch and less of everything being boxed and processed, in turn that helps me with weight loss, um yeah almost 3 years later and I am still trying to lose the baby weight! LOL I am also trying to exercise more, although I hate my treadmill, don't have time for the gym, nor do I want the added expense, um anyone have an elliptical they no longer want? LOL Anyway, we or I should say I want to turn our office into a complete room, anyone who has ever been to our house knows that when you go to the bathroom you have to walk through the office, oh yeah I should mention our house was built in like 1927 and you can run around the house in a circle if you really wanted, yeah I want the office to be closed off. There are many other things I have as "resolutions" for this new year, but for now they have seemed to slip my mind.

I'm sure I won't post daily as some do, but I hope to post at least a few times a week, eh, probably the more I post the more I am sure you will think I have a boring life, but that's ok. Until next time....
